Policy & Procedure Development

The development of a policy manual begins with a review and critique of any existing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current federal and state guidelines in relation to the organizations employment function. Upon completion of the review, recommendations will be made and a manual developed. This may include the development of an Employee Handbook that outlines the employer’s policies and benefits in condensed form and serves as a reference for new and current employees.

HR Assessment/Audits

The human resources audit assesses the overall quality, effectiveness and efficiency of an existing HR function by focusing on several facets within the organization.  It will identify existing or potential areas of concern or any areas not in compliance with federal and state regulations.  When the process is completed, a report will be provided to the client which summarizes the report and gives recommendations, when needed.

 


Affirmative Action Plans

Governmental compliance of Executive Order 11246 can prove to be a nightmare for anyone subject to affirmative action requirements regulated by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs. Affirmative Action Plans are written utilizing statistical analysis of the client’s workforce and employment transactions. Clients also have the option to purchase software to allow them to prepare their own plan or plans.

Do You Qualify? If you have more than 50 employees, more than $50,000 in federal contracts, or if you are a supplier to a company that does, you are required by U.S. law to prepare an annual AAP for each of your entities and be subject to an OFCCP audit.
